Challengers Families,
Welcome to Deerwood Elementary, where we are committed to inspiring excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring every child reaches their fullest potential. As Principal, it is an honor to serve a school community that believes deeply in the success of every student.
I am incredibly proud to share that Deerwood Elementary earned a School Grade of B for the 2025-2026 school year, our highest grade since 2013. This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and intentional work of our students, staff, families, and community partners. Together, we have built a culture of high expectations, meaningful relationships, and continuous growth.
At Deerwood, we believe academic excellence begins with strong partnerships and a commitment to doing what is best for children every day. Our teachers and staff work tirelessly to create engaging learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, grow confidently, and achieve success.
While we celebrate this important milestone, we remain focused on the future. This accomplishment is not the finish line; it is a reminder of what is possible when an entire school community works together toward a common goal. We are excited to build on this momentum as we prepare to welcome our students back for the first day of school on August 10. We look forward to another year of learning, growth, and achievement as we continue our journey toward excellence.
